About
Zambak Deri has been producing women's jackets with genuine leather handcraft in Istanbul since 1991.
Most of our products, which show up at fairs in fashion-shaping cities such as Paris, New York, London and Tokyo, are now produced from leather and play a role in reducing the damage caused by leather production to nature.
POWER OF WOMAN
The first steps of Lily Leather were taken by Yücel Kuş, who started to work in 1983 to buy toys for his children. In 1991, Zambak Deri started a new path by combining leather and handicraft, and 90% of its employees have always been women. With the power of women who want to contribute to the home economy by working from their homes, Zambak Deri's products find buyers all over the world.
THE ELEGANCE OF TULLE AND LEATHER
Lily Leather models use tulle and real leather for clothing. 80% of the leather we use in our products consists of leather left over from the cuts of leather jacket workshops. While the concept of "sustainability" had not been invented yet, Lily Leather was bringing the leathers that would have been out of use back to life.
